To serve as the custodians of the land and legacy entrusted to us by the founders of Gandhidham. We are dedicated to the sustainable administration of the township, the preservation of Sindhi heritage, and the continued welfare of the citizens of Adipur and Gandhidham.

Who We Are

Building Communities Since 1948

The Sindhu Resettlement Corporation Ltd. is the first township development organization of independent India. Formed in 1948, it was established to manage the rehabilitation of Sindhi Hindus who migrated from Pakistan. Unlike typical real estate developers, SRC was born out of a humanitarian crisis. With the support of leaders like Acharya Kripalani (our first Chairman) and Bhai Pratap Dialdas (Founding Managing Director), SRC undertook the monumental task of turning 2,600 acres of desert land into a planned modern city.

Preserving Legacy, Managing Growth

Our Role Today

Land Administration

Managing the leasehold rights and records of the land originally granted by the Maharao of Kutch.

Urban Development

Collaborating with the Kandla Port Trust (Deendayal Port Authority) and local municipalities to ensure orderly urban growth.

Cultural Preservation

Supporting educational and cultural institutions that keep the ethos of the Sindhi community alive.
